My Practice
I view therapy as a collaborative partnership between client and therapist and I believe all humans have an innate potential for health and wholeness. Depending on life experiences, connecting with that innate potential for health and wholeness can be difficult. Difficulties can manifest as depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationships, and stress, as well as a multitude of health problems. Sometimes, a current life situation can make it difficult to remember that sense of wholeness and happiness. My goal as a therapist is to facilitate a greater sense of well-being and satisfaction, as well as more effective functioning.

I use an eclectic approach in my work but have been especially influenced by Psychodynamic and Cognitive styles of working as well as Systems and Transpersonal styles. Where appropriate, I integrate principles of Mindfulness. In all of my work, a compassionate and professional connection in the therapeutic relationship serves as a vehicle for transformation of the relationships in your life.
